Italian lesson in the Italian countryside
Ciao! My name is Gabriele and I'm the director of Italiano in Casa , a centre for Italian culture, based in Rome. I am a native Italian speaker with a degree from the Political Science University of Rome.
I have been working for many years as an Italian teacher in universities and language schools in Italy's capital.
My family and I have been living in Umbria since 2008, in this magnificent casale (old stone farmhouse) where we offer Italian language and culture courses.
A stay here would be ideal for those who would like to give themselves the gift of a language immersion course in Italian in a wonderful relaxing atmosphere.

- Survival courses in Italian, for absolute beginners wishing to learn some basics.
- Advanced courses, for those who want to improve and develop their language skills as well as vocabulary for specific fields such as business and tourism.
We provide a wide selection of Italian-language materials for you to practice and learn with and to enjoy: books, including reference books on literature, history and society, movies, music, newspapers and magazines.
