The farmhouse at the edge of a forest

San Bartolomeo is a three-hundred-year-old Umbrian farmhouse at the edge of a forest. Built on a hill, the farmhouse overlooks a wide valley. The property includes a 300 m2 casale (old stone farmhouse) and a two-hectare estate with a garden and a swimming pool. The two-storey farmhouse itself has been carefully preserved and restored and has lost none of its ancient charm.  Here, it is peaceful and silent; time stands still.

At Farmhouse San Bartolomeo the owners, Anna e Gabriele, offer you full immersion in the Italian lifestyle, focusing on wine, olive oil and food tasting in undiscovered and unspoilt Umbria.
Here our guests become part of an Italian family and enjoy nature and the pleasures of life lived slowly. Our aim is to share with you the traditions characteristic of this land in the heart of Italy: restaurants, wine cellars, shops, farmers, as well as the most typical produce our rich territory has to offer.
